The RAID Advanced 35 Course is designed for divers who are ready to take their skills to the next level. Expanding on the foundation built in the Open Water and Explorer courses, this program prepares you for diving at greater depths and in more challenging environments, with a maximum depth of 35 meters (115 feet). Whether you’re looking to explore deeper wrecks, pristine reefs, or underwater caves, the RAID Advanced 35 course ensures you have the training and confidence to dive safely and efficiently.
Prerequisite:
RAID Open water 20 (or equivalent).
Minimum Age: 15 years old.
Course Structure:
Knowledge Development: Dive into advanced topics like dive planning for deeper dives, gas management, decompression theory, and dive site assessment. You will continue your studies using RAID’s engaging e-learning platform, which you can complete at your own pace.
The core dives include dives focusing on Buoyancy, Navigation, Rescue and Deep dives.
The elective dive can range from a variety of different topics including Night/Limited Visibility, Search and Recovery, Wreck, Ecological, Boat or Nitrox. You and your instructor will discuss which best suits you.
Master advanced gas management for dives to 35 meters, ensuring your air supply is optimized for depth and dive time.
Refine your buoyancy and trim control to enhance comfort and minimize environmental impact.
Develop expert-level navigation skills to confidently explore new dive sites and depths.
Learn about the physiology and safety considerations for deeper diving, including understanding and managing nitrogen narcosis.
Upon successful completion, you will earn the RAID Advanced 35 certification, which:
Qualifies you to dive to depths of 35 meters (115 feet) with a buddy.
Serves as a prerequisite for further technical training, including RAID Deep 40 or RAID Nitrox Diver courses.
Expands your diving opportunities, allowing you to safely explore more complex dive sites such as deep wrecks, caverns, and advanced reef environments.
