  • SDI Open Water Diver (or equivalent).

  • Minimum Age: 10 years old.

  • Knowledge Development: Study different types of diving specialties, dive planning, and safety protocols. The theory is completed through SDI’s e-learning platform, which you can do at your own pace.

  • In-Water Training: The course includes five open water dives, two of which are core dives that are part of the course.

    • Deep Dive: Learn the principles of deep diving, how to plan a deep dive, and how to manage the risks involved.

    • Navigation Dive: Gain proficiency in underwater navigation, learning how to use a compass, natural landmarks, and dive tables for better dive planning.

    • Plus, three additional adventure dives, which could include specialties like wreck diving, night diving, buoyancy control, or others, depending on your interests and goals.
