The nature of wreck diving is explored in the RAID Wreck Diving course, with topics such as why wreck dive, how to access wrecks properly, and how to choose appropriate wreck sites. Choosing instruments for wreck diving and advanced wreck diving equipment are also covered, ensuring that you have the necessary tools and knowledge to safely explore wreck sites.

 

Wreck penetration is a key aspect of the course, with students learning the parameters of wreck diving and RAID’s 10 point guide to wreck diving. This knowledge is essential to safely and confidently navigate the often-challenging environment of a wreck site.


To enroll in the RAID Wreck Diving course, you must be a minimum of 15 years old and a certified RAID Advanced 35 diver or equivalent. The practical course content includes RAID on-line e-learning academic presentations, quizzes, exam, and practical skills. A minimum of two open water training dives are required to complete the course.

The RAID Advanced Wreck in Gozo

Upon completion of the course, all open water skills are acknowledged and accepted on-line through the RAID website by both yourself and your instructor. The RAID Dive Centre confirms certification on-line through the RAID website, providing you with a recognized certification for your diving portfolio.

ONLINE LEARNING

Prior to joining us in Gozo, Malta for your course, you are required to finish the online study component of the RAID Advanced Wreck.

INWATER SKILLS

The inwater skills dives are completed in sheltered areas to allow you to build skills introduced by your Toby in small steps.

OPEN WATER DIVES

Once you can repeat the skills in a relaxed way, Toby will take you diving and complete the certifiying dives of the RAID Advanced Wreck!
