The best part was my dive instructor Jack (Jacques) was an absolute treasure. I hadn't had a dive in several years due to bad experience in a different country, and Jack patiently walked me through absolutely everything at the speed I wanted and the amount of review I chose, and he made solid decisions about what dives would be appropriate, etc. Checked in with me on everything.
