This combination course trains divers in the use of enriched air nitrox up to 100% oxygen and introduces staged decompression diving. It is ideal for those wanting to extend their bottom times and safely conduct planned decompression dives.

What You’ll Learn

This course covers:

• Use of enriched air nitrox (EANx) from 21% to 100% for optimal gas selection

• Oxygen exposure management and gas switching procedures

• Decompression theory, including gas loading and off-gassing

• Dive planning using decompression tables and dive computers

• Equipment considerations, including stage cylinders and gas management

• Ascent techniques and decompression stop execution

• Emergency procedures and problem management in a decompression environment

Course Details

• Max Depth: 45 meters / 150 feet

• Prerequisites:

  • Minimum age 18

  • TDI Nitrox Diver (or equivalent)

• Dives Included: A minimum of six training dives focused on gas switching, decompression procedures, and advanced dive planning

• Certification Limitations: Limited to decompression diving within a 45m depth limit
