JJ-CCR Air Diluent Decompression Procedures Diver

Price: €1200

Take your CCR diving to the next level with the TDI JJ-CCR Air Diluent Decompression Procedures course. This program builds on the foundational skills of recreational CCR diving and introduces planned decompression diving, allowing you to extend your bottom times safely while using air as a diluent.

Training on the JJ-CCR, one of the most robust and versatile rebreathers available, you’ll develop the skills needed to plan and execute decompression dives up to 40 meters (130 feet) with a maximum of 10 minutes of decompression.

What You’ll Learn

This course covers:

Advanced CCR dive planning – incorporating decompression obligations and ascent strategies
Managing oxygen setpoints – optimizing gas use for efficiency and safety
Decompression theory – understanding gas loading, off-gassing, and gradient factors
Gas management and bailout procedures – ensuring sufficient gas for emergencies
Loop volume and buoyancy control – fine-tuning skills for staged ascents
Executing safe decompression dives – planning and conducting dives with up to 10 minutes of required deco
Emergency drills and problem-solving – handling CO₂ issues, system failures, and gas switching

Course Details
Prerequisites

  • Minimum age 18
  • TDI Air Diluent CCR Diver (or equivalent CCR certification) with 30 hours logged or six months CCR experience.
  • Provide proof of at least 5 logged staged decompression dives to a minimum depth of 30 meters (100 feet)

  • Minimum 50 logged dives

Dives Included:

  • Minimum of 7 training dives, focusing on decompression diving, bailout procedures, and CCR ascent control

Certification Limitations:

  • Limited to air as a diluent

  • Maximum of 10 minutes of planned decompression

Why Take This Course?

  • Extend your bottom time with controlled decompression diving

  • Master CCR gas management and bailout planning for longer, safer dives

  • Train on one of the most capable CCR units for technical diving progression

  • Build the skills needed to advance to deeper Trimix CCR diving

Upon successful completion, you’ll earn the TDI Air Diluent Decompression Procedures CCR Diver certification, qualifying you to conduct decompression CCR dives to 40m with a maximum of 10 minutes of planned deco.
